Avtron AV850 SMARTach II Encoders

Avtron AV850 SMARTach II Encoders are magnetic, modular, heavy mill duty units that mount directly on 8.5" motor C-Faces, (NEMA FC, 180C), such as Siemens, GE, Marathon, and Baldor. They fit shafts up to 4 1/2" (and larger). The AV850 is our highest reliability encoder with our best diagnostics. It is designed for use in the worst environments. The modular design with fully encapsulated electronics provides maximum protection from damage. Its AV5 Ultra Wide-Gap replaceable magnetoresistive sensors ensure 100% uptime without requiring removal of the encoder, and are fully protected against mis-wiring and short circuits. The diagnostic LED and optional alarm output inform the operator if the output signal is not ideal before downtime occurs! These AV5 sensors can also be used with the AV485 (solid shaft model) and AV685 (hollow shaft model). Also available: 12.5" (AV125) versions and non-removable sensor version (M85).
