Avtron Edgewound Resistors are designed for medium current industrial applications from 16 to 100 amps continuous. Rugged construction allows severe short-time overloads as found in applications such as dynamic braking of variable speed drives. Industry standard size allows for direct replacement of other brands such as General Electric (Type IC9033).

Avtron Edgewound Resistors can be supplied loose with threaded support rods, preassembled with panel mount brackets, or fully assembled with protective indoor or outdoor enclosures. Optional thermal switches, wiring, and control systems are also available.
