in a 5.88" circle. Originally designed as the standard for mounting
solid
shaft, coupled
tachometers on
flange adapters, the NEMA 56C is also a
standard for mounting modular encoders. Avtron
M56 THIN-LINE encoders mount
on NEMA 56C faces. Marathon Blue Max and Black Max AC motors feature a NEMA
56C face on the non-drive end.
