Avtron K662 Brushless Tachometer,
also known as a frequency to voltage converter, enables users to replace
older analog
DC tachogenerators
with high reliability, zero maintenance, digital
encoders
from Avtron,
without modifying their drive or controller device. The K662 accepts
A Quad B
pulses from a 240
PPR encoder and provides an analog voltage (+/-10 VDC) output in proportion to speed (frequency to voltage conversion). Also available:
K660A for higher
PPR and/or low speed applications,
K661 for higher (+/-300 VDC) voltage applications, and a full range of encoders to fit the existing shaft without modification.
