Avtron Neutral Grounding Resistors (Type ANG)

Avtron is pleased to announce the availability of UL Listed Neutral Grounding Resistors rated 600 V, 5 kV, 8.7 kV, and 15 kV class -- up to 1,000 amps. Neutral Grounding Resistors are designed to provide added safety to industrial distribution systems by limiting ground fault current to reasonable levels. In a typical solidly grounded three phase system, the neutral is tied directly to earth ground. This can cause high ground fault current (typically 10,000 to 20,000 amps) and excessive damage to transformers, generators, motors, wiring, and associated equipment. Inserting an Avtron Neutral Grounding Resistor between neutral and ground limits fault current to a safe level (typically 25 to 400 amps) while still allowing sufficient current flow to operate fault clearing relays. With an Avtron UL Listed grounding resistor, installation certification and electrical sign-off is greatly simplified!

Avtron Server Load Simulator (Model SLS-6)

Avtron is pleased to announce the availability of Server Load Simulators rated 6 kW to 10 kW. The Avtron Model SLS-6 (6 kW) and Model SLS-10 (10 kW) are self-contained, rack-mounted units that simulate the actual heat loading of computer servers. The simulators are designed for data center heat-load testing and server placement during the data center design and construction stage. In today�s high power data center environments, it is absolutely critical to design and test the facility HVAC cooling system prior to installation of the actual servers themselves. The Avtron Server Load Simulators mimic the exact heat output of the actual servers under load and have the same form factor and dimensions as the physical servers. Also, Avtron Server Load Simulators are 50% to 150% higher capacity than competing units (typically rated 4 kW) which means fewer units are required to achieve a specific heat loading -- saving both time and money!

Avtron's Aluminized Steel Load Bank Enclosure with Polyester Powder Coat Paint.

The Polyester Powder Coat Paint System utilized by Avtron is not only the most durable and scratch resistant finish we�ve ever offered � it is also very environmentally friendly!

Liquid based paint systems often utilize harmful solvents and produce strong odors that are potentially dangerous to people and the environment if not handled properly. The Powder Coat Paint process eliminates these solvents and strong odors by electrostatically applying a dry powder consisting of finely ground resin and pigment to a metal surface.

Each powder coated part is oven cured to permanently bond the polyester resin to the aluminized steel, which is a corrosion resistant metal itself even before it is powder coated. The advanced combination of aluminized steel and polyester powder coat paint provides the highest corrosion resistant finish in the industry!

This high tech process produces a high quality finish that is both long lasting and durable. Powder coated products are far more resistant to scratching, chipping, rusting, and wearing than conventional solvent based finishes and colors stay bright and vibrant longer.

In addition, the powder coat paint system is proven to be highly efficient. Since up to 98% of the powder material ends up on the product, overall waste � compared to traditional paint overspray � is dramatically reduced.
