Avtron M285 Encoders

Avtron M285 SMARTach Encoders were magnetic, modular, heavy mill duty units that mount directly on 8.5” motor C-Faces. M285 encoders utilized removable M284 sensors.

M285 encoders have been replaced by the enhanced model AV850. The AV850 directly replaces the M285 with no rewiring. No gapping or adjustment is needed!

Renewal Parts

M284 sensors and replacement M285 rotors are available as renewal parts and diagnostic testing is available. Replacement with AV850 is also cost-effective option.
