Avtron M485 Encoders

Avtron M485 SMARTach Encoders are magnetic, severe duty encoders that offer foot or NEMA 56C face or flange (flowerpot) mounting, and offer extra rugged bearings for pulley and other rough applications. The M485 is designed for use in the worst environments, indoors or out, with constant exposure to water, oil, and dirt. The replaceable magnetoresistive sensors (1 or 2 per encoder) ensure 100% uptime without requiring removal of the encoder from the foot or  flange. Also available: hollow shaft version (M685).
