UnivATE™
software is shop friendly.
The
new visExec™
(visual executive)
software is intuitive
(quick and easy to learn). UnivATE reduces the training and skill levels
required for safe, economical use. For the shop technician, UnivATE provides
greatly increased usefulness, including:

Point and click mouse-driven interface.

Automatic and manual modes.

Program looping on any sub task, group of sub tasks, or
the whole program.

Complete test control (adjust on fail,
pause on fail, etc.)

Individual test step execution, without running the whole
test.

Diagnostics – full step control
(start, stop, pause, repeat, etc.)

Troubleshooting to the full extent provided by the
component manufacturer.

Macro recording requires no programming
knowledge.

Detailed analysis of test history.

Graphical report generation.

Calibration – outside calibration is limited to the DMM
and a signal generator. All other instruments are calibration verified
to these standards in place via the self test
TPS. Bar graphs with real-time indication make calibration adjustments
easy and accurate. No trial and error.

TCM – UnivATE is also a Manual Test Bench –
Only UnivATE offers the full manual control capability that most shop
technicians want and need. UnivATE’s low cost, optional TCM (Technician
Control Mode) provides pull down menu control of virtually every resource
and switch in the test system. TCM even allows the technician to save TCM
test setups as macros (small test sequences) with a new file name. There are
no program codes to write, or syntax errors to fight to achieve total manual
test bench usefulness.
The benefit? With TCM and component manufacturers’ extender
cards, most technicians can fault isolate to a small group of components for
easy repairs.
Data Trending and Data Analysis – Data
trending and analysis give users the information needed to quickly and
easily solve problems. The new software allows the operator to search on
specific criteria including part numbers, test steps, test results and
dates. Output of the results is in an easy to read format that is presented
in graphs and can be exported to excel for advanced computational analysis.
Use of the results simplifies troubleshooting, accelerates the unit return
to service time, and provides a quick return on investment. Avtron is
