UnivATE/K825B Support

UnivATE™ is supported by an experienced team of engineers and technicians. Their goal is to keep our customers’ testing operations running smoothly.

Upgrades – Avtron is now offering for all of its K825B/UnivATE users a Visual Basic Upgrade. The Upgrade allows users to set up a “dual” mode that provides compatibility between all existing Mega Basic test programs and new Visual Basic programs.

Dedicated Support Staff – For many years Avtron has been providing telephone, fax, e-mail, modem connection, and on-site service. Our full time Customer Support Engineering staff is experienced in travelling the world to keep Avtron users in operation. You can expect few problems, because of the quality and reliability built into each Avtron system. Avtron-built ATE instruments and power supplies are guaranteed to have spares and repair support for at least 15 years. UnivATE owners can be sure that any unexpected problems can be quickly corrected.

Open Application Source Code – Avtron provides its users with TPS source code. This enables the user to update TPS’s in-house. It’s even easier with our latest Visual Basic TPS’s.

Avtron Program Revision Service (PRS) – Avtron’s PRS is available to all UnivATE owners at a yearly predetermined price. PRS assures the most up-to-date test program revisions are available. PRS is provided on a one year (renewable) basis. PRS provides program updates for each of the Interface/Test Adapters in use. Individual Avtron Customer Support Engineers are assigned to each UnivATE/PRS customer to assure personalized, responsible support.

Program Revision Service (PRS) The full coverage software service from Avtron.

Automatic Test Equipment users have a complicated and difficult support problem whenever there is a revision to the governing test procedure. The major problem is protecting your investment by maintaining the most current software.

The Avtron Program Revision Service (PRS) is a full coverage software support service designed to ensure your continued testing to the latest released revision of the governing test procedure. "Full Coverage" means Avtron does all of the difficult technical support effort for the PRS subscriber. PRS subscribers no longer need to worry about test procedure revisions and will now have the freedom to do what they do best – UUT, LRU, Test and Repair.

UnivATE/K825B Members are now able to review a list of the latest Avtron released TPS software.
Review the latest released TPS listing. It is an Excel document. This list is updated frequently. Last update: 30 January 2008
PRS Members will be updated automatically with the TPS software pertaining to your particular adapter. The updates will include Conformance Certificates per ARINC 625-1 requirements. If NON-PRS Members would like to purchase TPS software, please contact Avtron Customer Support Engineering.

UnivATE Test Set Remote Service

All K825B/UnivATE test stands can be remotely controlled and serviced anywhere in the world. This service can be used to fix problems, update software, provide training, update CMM revisions, or change configurations. With customer permission and password, Avtron has complete control over the test set operation and software from thousands of miles away. Service is provided instantly, no need to wait for a flight or a delivery.

UnivATE Adapter Self Test

All test adapters can be updated with an Adapter Self Test. Adapter Self Test capability allows you to verify the functionality and calibration of adapters quickly and automatically. There's no need to spend hours manually calibrating test adapters. Production is increased since the time for adapter calibration verification is reduced.

UnivATE/K825B Adapter Updates

Is your K825B/UnivATE test adapter up to date? Periodic changes from the manufacturer require changes to the adapter. Without these changes the adapter cannot perform the test to manufacturer’s specification. Updates are available for the following adapters.
