Avtron Wirewound Resistors are designed for low current industrial applications from 1 to 32 amps continuous. Heavy-duty construction allows even higher ratings for intermittent duty applications such as dynamic braking of variable speed drives or motor starting. Industry standard size allows for easy drop-in replacement of other brands including Cutler-Hammer (Type-L), and Post Glover (Type LC).

Avtron Wirewound Resistors can be supplied loose, preassembled with panel mount brackets, or fully assembled with protective indoor or outdoor enclosures. Optional thermal switches, wiring, and control systems are also available.
