What is a WMV?
Windows Media Viewer (WMV)
is a compressed video file format for several proprietary codecs developed by Microsoft.
How do I view a WMV?
Simply click on the hyperlink or the icon and view immediately using Windows Media Player. (If you do not have Windows Media Player you may download it FREE of charge from Microsoft, see link to the right.)  Version 10 or above works best.

Can I save a WMV to my computer?

If you would like to view it later or save it to your computer, you can download the WMV file. 
For PC users: Right click on the file and save it to your hard drive. 
For MAC users: Control key and click on the file and save it to your hard drive.
NOTE: These files are very large, download times may be long and may appear to pause during the download.

Why do I get an error message when I try to play the video?

If you receive an error message stating, "The WMVA codec is required to play this file." (see screen shot below)

You will need to open your Internet Explorer browser options and make sure that the codec box is checked. (see screen shot below)
